A Fond Farewell to Editor Pawwriter

I wanted to let everyone know that Paw is cutting back on his editing duties for personal reasons. Paw I want to say on behalf of us all, thank you for assisting in the creation and refinement of Wishing. I do hope you continue reading.

That being said I am now looking for a new Editor. If you would like to try your hand then please send me a comment or feedback with an email I can reach you at and we will talk. I will probably have a little something for you to edit so I can see what your tastes are like and if we will work well.

I have been a real bastard lately in not updating you guys but the has been a job change and the insurance company is giving me the runaround on a few things. I will have a new chapter up soon.

Something New

Hey guys

I have been attempting to get a job in the last couple of weeks and I have made progress. Unfortunalty I have work on Wishing only a little.
I have also started to write another story. I have yet to title it and I only have about 4,000 words typed so far but I hope that everyone will like it.
I'll keep everyone updated as I much as possible. I am going to try and post something every week.

Since Nuke hasn't been able to tell you lately because he's been busy, Wishing Ch 4 posted on August 21. I don't know how to set up the link for the chapter on here, so I'll let him do that when he can.

Wishing Update 8/12/11

Good News everyone. I got Chapter 04 back from Paw all edited. With any luck I will have it posted by Saturday. I am working on a surprise for everyone and as soon as I lock it down I'll let everyone in on it.

Chapter 04 Update 8/9/11

I just sent Chapter 04 to Paw for editing. I was informed that he will be unavailable for editing between the 11th and the 25th due to taking some personal time, which is why I got it to him today. Hopefully well have an edited chapter for revision and posting by Thursday.

Update to Chapter 04 of Wishing

So Chapter 4 is underway. I had a bit of writers block for a few days so I am a bit behind. I knew how I wanted the story to go but I just couldn't get the words right. Rest assured I have worked it out and I am writing up a storm. In the last day I have added close to 2,000 words to the chapter and it is only a third done. I estimate it will be about 7,000 to 8,000 words by the time I am done. I'll try and keep everyone updated as I go.

I have a overall story penned out, but I would love to try and make this a bit more interactive with what my audience is wanting to read. If you have something you would like to read Ruri and Walt do send me some feedback and I'll see if I can work it in.

I'm Back

Hey everyone.

A funny thing happened on the way to the office five months ago... someone ran me off the road! Wouldn't have been that bad if I drove a normal car right ;-)  but nooooo I have to ride a motorcycle. I've been in the hospital and court since. My right leg and hip have had to be reconstructed and I still have a lot of work to do to even walk again. Down side; lots of physical therapy. Up Side; I'm suing the shit out of the trucking company that owned the truck that bastard was driving (he was high by the way). 

Well Chapter 03 is off to Paw and will be up early next week.

It's been 2 months since my last post

and I still have not been able to get in touch with Nuke. I have only had email and ICQ addresses and have not had any answers with either. I am afraid that something has happened to him. I have pledged to not reveal any other info I knew about him, so can't really give you any more info. If anyone actually knows him and what happened, contact me at winpaw@comcast.net. Put NukeEmFromOrbit in the subject.

What happened to Chapter 3?

Actually, I don't know either. On Feb 8, I got an email from Nuke
saying he just getting over being sick, but a new storm was coming (he
lives in what is the snow belt in the south central US). However, he
said he would have Chapter 3 to me by Fri or Sat for editing. After
nothing by Monday I said, 'he didn't say which Fri or Sat.' However, 2
more Fri & Sat have gone by and still nothing despite several more
emails to him. There have been no more entries from him in this blog
either. If the situation changes, either I or Nuke will update the
blog.

Chapter 2 is up on Lit!!!

So far the reception seems to be excellent. I'll keep writing them if you guys (and Girls) keep reading them.

As far the feedback I've gotten so far; the majority ask for one thing.... Longer Chapters.

Well, Lit Readers, I have heard you and will endevor to write longer more detailed and plot filled chapters. This might draw out the time between chapters but not by much.

Hi guys and girls

This is PawWriter, Nuke's editor. I have seen some sneak peeks of the story and I think you are all going to love it. A lot of plot twists and action.

I assume Nuke is going to post when he sends new chapters to me. I normally take 1-2 days. Chapter 2 took 2 edits. I will try to post if I get too busy to make that time frame and will probably not post too much other than that.

Update 1/19/11 - Wishing

Good news everyone. I am happy to announce that Pawwriter has agreed to edit for me. I just got him chapter 2 so we should see it up in a week or so.

To those that have commented on how close the story, so far, follows Joe's. I say... your right. It is close and there is a reason for that, mostly out of necessity. It was the most efficient way to get the important rules out there.
I can assure you, though, that in chapter 2 it will start diverging and about mid way through chapter 3 it's going to take a left turn.


So if I can ask for your patience for just a bit longer I promise I won't let you down.

Update 1/15/11 - Wishing

Just letting y'all know that chapter 2 has been written. I am waiting for a response from an Editor so I can avoid the mistakes made in the first chapters. Its only been about 12 hours since I contacted one so it could be awhile. I'll post when I send out the Story and again when I post it.

I am thrilled at the comments to my stories so far. Thank you all for the support. I have been in a writing frenzy and already have a chapter 2 done and I am well into fleshing chapter 3 out.
